Hello! I am Meng Yuan.
I am an UX Designer, a Keen Observer and a Reliable Team Player.
Currently, I am Master student specializing in HCI at University of Michigan School of Information. Before I came to UM, I got my Bachelor's degree in Shanghai Jiao Tong University majoring in Industrial Design and minoring in Business Administration. These two fields equipped me with core design skills and management strategies, making me emphasize on both creativity and feasibility in my design. I was also the chairwoman of Art Center, Student Union@ SJTU, where I learned how to be a good leader and how to resonate with our audiences. With this diverse background, I am able to design effective solutions with best experiences to address users’ needs.
I appreciate all the beauty of the world. I enjoy traveling, reading and jogging. I also pay close attention to social issues such as the air pollution, population aging, increased risk for depression. For me, design is not only a skill but also a way to make some difference in this world.
